I was putting away my clean laundry on Sunday evening when I noticed, I have a lot more clothes than I remember. This reminded me to put a stop to shopping for a bit. It also reminded me that I should remix things and gave me ideas for mixing clothes. Maybe I should put my laundry away more often.
Opposite to that you now believe about my clothing living in dunes around my room, they do find their way into the closet and dressers on their own accord, without my guidance.
I have been trying to incorporate this scarf into an outfit for a while, and did wear it as a belt last winter. Today, I wore it as a scarf. I found it to be a little bit Fred Flinstone-esque. What do you think?
The scarf hung down in more of a tie effect all day.
- Shirt – Barney’s, Thrifted
- Vest – Esprit, Consignment
- Scarf – Sarah, from a trip
- Corduroys – Reitman’s
We put up some new light fixtures this weekend, including this pendant lamp, so here is a better picture of it than yesterday.
S. made it out of two old bicycle tires he found, and yes, we did stencil antique Victorian bicycles onto the fabric. I may include a more detailed post on the pendant lamp later.
And finally, a closeup of the sweater I wore yesterday, from Anthropologie. The pattern on the sweater reminds me a lot of the pattern on the scarf I wore today. Both have that woven, line, pattern, kind of cultural pattern thing going on. Forgive my ignorance.

I love the vest, especially with the floral print of the shirt – they’re lovely opposites, but balance well against the corduroys.
And that pendant is the most amazing thing ever. I found a clock on Etsy made out of an old mountain bike wheel that I want to get for TRS someday. You definitely need to include a more detailed post!
I think the scarf would be great with that vest if tied like a man’s tie and tucked into the vest.
I was kind of thinking that too… but I didn’t want to be too formal. Something to try for another day. I did manage to tie it like a man’s tie, but I have no idea how I managed to do that.
Talented without even trying!
Thank you for finding me, and your comment.
