Remember when I posted about how much I liked this sweater? Well, my awesome Mum went and got me the purple version for Christmas! Apparently if I mention things here on the blog, I sometimes get them in real life. On an unrelated note, have I ever told you all how much I like ponies, water slides and tiaras?
I LOVE this sweater (Thanks, Mom!)! I actually think the purple-on-purple floral detail, which is subtler than the grey version, is less “trendy” looking and will help the sweater work as a nice professional piece, too. Wouldn’t it look great with my grey dress pants if I ever get them hemmed?
Then I cooked dinner, and figured it was the perfect time to try out the apron Chels sent me for Christmas.

In sad news, I was loving the key necklace I made using a key from a huge bag of keys my mom snagged for me at a yard sale ($0.50 for a gallon Ziploc full of keys? Score!), until I happened to see Justin Bieber on Ellen wearing…wait for it..a key necklace. Cue the sad trombone.
