I don’t remember hearing of International Women’s Day until this morning, and I’m not certain I like the idea. It seems more than vaguely insulting to reserve 1 day out of 365 to honor more than half the people on the planet…. I suppose we have to create awareness any way we can, but it still feels a tad demeaning. Just me?
I loved this ad. I’m bummed it didn’t get more attention. Actually, I’m bummed that all of Women’s Day didn’t get much attention outside of feminist blogging circles.
