This is the story of our DIY dining room pendant drum light.
It began with two tires found on the side of the road.
A piece of lexan plastic.
Various spare pieces.
And part of an old light fixture found in a thrift store.
These were put together by someone who knew what they were doing. Some of the tire spokes were taken out. The tire was welded to the metal of the light fixture, metal tube, and other metal piece, and wiring was wired through.
Lexan was bolted to the tires.
Then the plastic covering was removed, and fabric was attached.
Behold it’s majesty, our pendant drum light.
