At the very end of my shift today I answered a phone call, only to have the following reference question: What are the lyrics to the Scooby Doo song from the cartoon? Then they had me recite the lyrics. Note: I did not sing them, I didn’t want to be at the end of a practical joke.
It has been cloudy and rainy lately, and this week I have worn several all black ensembles. Today I risked adding a little bit of white with the tights and earrings because it was nice and sunny for about an hour this morning.
I bought this vintage wrap skirt a couple weeks ago on my thrift mega haul week, for a dollar. There was a handwritten price tag on it from another store for $89. You can kind of tell from the pictures that it has shiny alligator style print, and there are two hooks that it clasps to to wrap around. The second picture gives a better idea of the gather and draping that happens in front. This skirt would also look good with a tucked in shirt and a nice belt. It is comfy and high waisted. Bonus: It has an elastic back! Grandma wants her stylish skirt back!
Random fact: Shakespeare coined approximately 1700 words, including lackluster, fashionable, auspicious, bandit, glow, hush, dawn, gnarled, hobnob, traditional, and the name Jessica. You now have a great conversation starter, or interesting factoid to throw out when there is an awkward pause in conversation. You’re welcome.

That’s an interesting fact, and now you’ve got me wondering what all of our blogs would be like if the word “fashionable” had never been invented. Hooray for the Bard!
Thanks for the random fact. I had no idea!! Awesome skirt, by the way. Excellent thrift find!
Excellent randon Shakespearean fact!
Excellent tights, too.
