I have to make one of these cork giraffes. Actually I have to make two, then they could fight and be GIRAFFE-STRANGLINGLY-ANGRY!! Awesome!

I want to make (at least one) too! The only thing is, as a non-drinker I’m at a loss as to where to get that many corks. It seems like a sucker’s game to go buy them specifically for craft purposes. Also, thinking about corks reminds me of how we had a drawer full of them when I was a kid, and how it never seemed weird, but now that I think about it I wonder if they were from when my dad was an alcoholic. The things we don’t question as children, amirite?
Yes, I think it will even take me a while to save up enough corks since I have not habitually saved them. Though being a wine drinker does make this a bit easier. My strategy is to get people or families who I know drink or entertain a lot to give me all their corks, under duress. Then soon the giraffe will be mine!
You could just make one and then have it fight the original giraffe that was angrily strangled.
